چکیده

The minimum supply voltage €or a typical switched-current (SI) cell can be shown to be greater than 2 v ~ + 2VDssat approximately due to the fact that an additional voltage drop is required for the MOS switch, which is connected to the gate of the memory transistor. Thus, a minimum supply voltage of 1.5 V is usually required in a standard CMOS process. In this paper, an active switching scheme is proposed €or designing SI cells. The minimum supply voltage is equal to VT + 2VDssat. As a result, 1 V SI cells that exhibit low charge injection errors can be achieved.

A Low-Voltage, Low-Power, Two-Stage Amplifier for Switched-Capacitor Applications in 90 nm CMOS Process

Abstract- A novel low-voltage two-stage operational amplifier employing resistive biasing is presented. This amplifier implements neutralization and correction common mode stability in second stage while employs capacitive dc level shifter and coupling between two stages. The structure reduces the power consumption and increases output voltage swing. The compensation is performed by simple mill...

IC Implementation of a Switched-Current Chaotic Neuron

A switched-current integrated circuit, which realizes the chaotic neuron model, is presented. The circuit mainly consists of CMOS inverters that are used as transconductance amplifiers and nonlinear elements. The chip was fabricated using a 1.2 μm HP CMOS process. A single neuron cell occupies only 0.0076 mm2, which represents an area smaller than the one occupied by a standard bonding pad. The...

A Comparison of First and Second Generation Switched-Current Cells

The Switched-Current (SI) technique is a circuit method that enables analog sampled-data circuits to be realized with a standard digital CMOS process. At this time it is fair to say that SI circuits are realized from either rstor second-generation type current memory cells, with the latter cell being favored owing to its perceived better sensitivity behavior. Unfortunately, however, the second-...

Low Voltage Current Mode Switched-Current-Mirror Mixer

A new CMOS active mixer topology can operate at 1 V supply voltage by use of SCM (switched currentmirror). Such current-mode mixer requires less voltage headroom with good linearization. Mixing is achieved with four improved current mirrors, which are alternatively activated. For ideal switching, the operation is equivalent to a conventional active mixer. This paper analyzes the performance of ...
